Context

Marketing teams run campaigns across channels and answer to clients who want to know how those campaigns are doing right now, not in next week's report. The app gives the team one place on their phones to plan, watch the numbers and share them.

The challenge

Campaign data is spread across the platforms where the money is spent. Pulling it into one mobile view means talking to several REST APIs, turning the numbers into charts that read well on a phone and keeping the team informed as things change. Architecture decisions

REST APIs keep the app a thin client over the systems that already hold the data. Charts on a phone need to be deliberate: fewer series, bigger labels and the number that matters shown first.
